Getting Stronger!

January 20, 2010
Lovey is rolling over and holding up her head.

Cute little clothes...

Aunt Natalie made Lovey this little skirt and matching shoes.
Thanks Aunt Natalie!
Lovey is 5 months old at the time.

And of course Seth needed in on the picture...

Oh Canada!

We are cheering for Canada during these Olympics for the following reasons:
1. Our Dad is Canadian and it makes him happy
(no one likes to be around Jon when he's grumpy)
2. Aunt Wendy sent us Canadian Olympic shirts
(Thanks for the Christmas presents Aunt Wendy)
3. It would be really cool if the Canadian Hockey team won gold on their home soil.
(No other hockey team has won gold on home soil,
except the US of course has done it a couple of times)
4. We could not help but cheer for Canada in the Curling Gold Medal Match - it was very intense (seriously!!) Unfortunatly Canada lost:(
Go Team Canada!

A Perfect Day...

It started out with Russell & Erin's Temple Sealing at the Newport Beach Temple:

It was a beautiful ceremony. Erin looked stunning in her mother's wedding dress. I love my brother and his wife so much, I am so glad I could be a part of their special day.
Then all to Aunt Laura's House for Lucy Eliana's Baby Blessing:

Lovey is wearing a blessing dress that my mom and I made out of my Grandma Payne's Temple Skirt.

We are a Happy Family! (Sing it to the tune)

Dad, Marcus, Great-Grandpa Lake, Grandpa Lake, Uncle Russell

Marcus loves his little sister.

So, you can see it was a perfect day...

Lovey's Hand and Foot

These are prints of Lovey's hand and foot when she was about 5 days old.

Marcus' 5th Birthday

We had a Birthday Party at the Thanksgiving Point Farm.
(It was great at that time, Lovey was still in the hospital, they did everything for us we just had to show up)

Earlier that day Marcus got to come down to the hospital with dad and we took him for a birthday lunch at Brick Oven. He got his favorite - pineapple pizza!
