More pics...
We took Grandma and Grandpa to Cabellas - the biggest game hunting store in the U.S. Not only do they sell everything needed for hunting and fishing, they also have hundreds of stuffed game and animals all around the store. Grandma wasn't too excited... especially when my dad and I were shooting animals with our toy shotgun!
The Hoogle Zoo
Grandma and Grandpa took us to the Hoggle Zoo in Salt Lake City. As you can see a lot of the animals had to go inside because it was too cold outside. We still had a lot of fun. Marcus figured out he could climb the chain link fences! The giraffes were amazing to see. I don't think I have ever seen any that close up, Marcus tried to feed them his hand! We planned on staying for an hour or so but ended up staying for 2 and a half hours. Marcus even ate some of Grandmas chicken fingers - we were all surprised!

Christmas 2006
Christmas day was spent in Palm Springs, California. The coldest it got was 54 degrees, and that was only at night! We ate out at great restaurants, went swimming, Michelle baked all day, Marcus played all day (thank you Grandma Lake for being the entertainer) and Jon tried to break in the new couch! We had a wonderful Holiday. We were especially glad to spend it with the whole Lake family. This was the first time we have been together for Christmas in 3 years. We hope you all had a wonderful Celebration. Thanks Mom & Dad Lake for the wonderful memories.
Santa Brought Marcus a Fire Engine Truck he could drive and all the gear ever needed to be a fireman. However, when Marcus puts it all on he calls himself Superman.

Opening the Presents
Marcus had a great time opening up his presents. It was so fun to watch him struggle to get the wrapping off, then be so excited when he saw what was inside. For those of you who might think that he might have A.D.D. (most likely from his dad) and rolled from present to present, that was not the case. We had to keep calling him back into the room to finish opening his presents.
Here we are Christmas Morning, we kept Marcus from seeing the presents for as long as we could. All he needed was a second to get away, and next thing we knew he had brought a present from his stocking back to the kitchen and asked, "open it?" We had to stuff breakfast into our mouths and get out to the living room as fast as we could!
