3rd Chrsitmas

Thank you Aunt Sue, Uncle Matt, Isaac, Joey and Thomas for the great Snake Shirt - I can now make a snake sound: hissssssssssssss. I love the puzzle, but my mom has to keep it in the other bedroom because it starts cock-a-doodle-dooing all on its own! I love and miss you guys!

2nd Christmas

Thank you Aunt Wendy and Uncle Ken for the new book! I love cars, trucks, airplanes and trains and pretty much anything that goes on wheels. I especially love opening presents!

Christmas 2006

Christmas day was spent in Palm Springs, California. The coldest it got was 54 degrees, and that was only at night! We ate out at great restaurants, went swimming, Michelle baked all day, Marcus played all day (thank you Grandma Lake for being the entertainer) and Jon tried to break in the new couch! We had a wonderful Holiday. We were especially glad to spend it with the whole Lake family. This was the first time we have been together for Christmas in 3 years. We hope you all had a wonderful Celebration. Thanks Mom & Dad Lake for the wonderful memories.

Santa Brought Marcus a Fire Engine Truck he could drive and all the gear ever needed to be a fireman. However, when Marcus puts it all on he calls himself Superman.

Opening the Presents

Marcus had a great time opening up his presents. It was so fun to watch him struggle to get the wrapping off, then be so excited when he saw what was inside. For those of you who might think that he might have A.D.D. (most likely from his dad) and rolled from present to present, that was not the case. We had to keep calling him back into the room to finish opening his presents.

Here we are Christmas Morning, we kept Marcus from seeing the presents for as long as we could. All he needed was a second to get away, and next thing we knew he had brought a present from his stocking back to the kitchen and asked, "open it?" We had to stuff breakfast into our mouths and get out to the living room as fast as we could!

Barinder's Wedding Ceremony--August 2006

Barinder arrives at his wedding... an hour and a half late! Family members explained he arrived on Indian standard time... which must be similar to Mormon standard time!

Barinder and Suki now happily married!

Welcom Home Uncle Russell

Uncle Russell is finally home from his mission!

This was my second time meeting him. The first we met I was only 2 weeks old. My mom took me to the airport to see him before he left for Argentina. I was glad to meet him again since I don't really remember the first time!

4th of July we went to a Real Soccer game. They had fireworks after the show, I thought they were too loud so I had to plug my ears.
